Project Completion - Bonds Creek Carrier Extension Project

Methodology: Mixed – Auger Boring, AVN600 microtunnelling and Laser Guided Vacuum System
Length: over 500m
Location: Bonds Creek, NSW, Australia
OVERVIEW
Following the successful completion of 872 metres of tunnelling for the Kemps Creek Dual Pressure Water Mains project, Bothar is proud to announce the completion of yet another significant package of works, delivering over 500 metres of trenchless installation for the Bonds Creek Carrier Extension Project, in collaboration with our valued partner, Quickway.
For this project, Bothar used a comprehensive range of trenchless construction techniques and equipment, including Auger Boring, a Laser Guided Vacuum System, and an AVN600 Microtunnelling Machine. This diverse methodology allowed us to effectively navigate varying and challenging ground conditions across the project. The strategic selection and application of each method played a critical role in ensuring the seamless and timely delivery of the project within the tight schedule constraints.
Our team’s dedication to safety, precision, and efficiency under pressure has once again demonstrated Bothar’s ability to deliver complex trenchless infrastructure with consistency and reliability. We are proud of our workforce, our technical team, and our project partners who contributed to this success.
Bothar extends gratitude to Quickway for their continued trust in our capabilities. Their support has been instrumental in the successful execution of this project, and we look forward to building on this strong partnership in future ventures.
