The first run of this project involved the installation of 1385m of OD2500, ID2100 Reinforced Jacking Pipe from Quota Park, Biggera Waters to South Stradbroke Island. As part of the scope of works, Bothar was also responsible for the temporary works design and construction of launch and retrieval shafts required for pipe jacking operations, as well as all other engineering design required for pipe jacking operations. This run was completed in February 2020.
A second run involving 600m of DN1500 GRP unstalled with AVN1600 from Quota Park to O'Connell Park, Gold Coast is currently underway.
